Don’t Worry About Anything

That’s God’s polite way of saying, “Remember that there is someone in control of the world and it’s not you.” God is in charge and He loves you and will provide for you. Not just a little, but everything you will need. Not everything you want, but everything you need to both become all He wants you to be, and to accomplish all he wants you to do.

There is no person, no power, no circumstance, and no combination of any of those that can even come close to challenging the power of God the Father Almighty in your life. Nothing can keep God from doing all the good He plans for those He loves.

Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? (Luke 12:22-26, NIV).
