  1. Yes, it is what he gives us, but isn’t it basically because we give our will to him. Heart just seems more concret. Something we can visualize. Of course, Spurgeon does not say we do not give our heart to the Lord; he says we do it after the act of Christ’s giving salvation to us. Still we have to “partake” of his offer before he gives us salvation.
