God also tells us Jesus is our only Teacher through the empowering of The Holy Spirit and having asked for His Wisdom and empowering we can be assured we have His Truth and know when it’s being shared or not shared.
True enough. God often uses people like Spurgeon to teach us, but they are not the real Teacher. And we need to not blindly follow or accept everything they say, no one’s theology is perfect since our knowledge is imperfect and we are sinful. That said, Spurgeon did not believe Jesus was an angel.

Jesus came to heal not condemn , Man judges critically and without Love and Compassion because he looks on the outside but God sees the heart and knows the motivation or the reason. but we are to Rebuke those who continue to Sin, it is not Love to see Satan get a foothold in their lives and say nothing.

Paul explained the weakness of the flesh in Romans 7 but shared what to do about it in Romans 8 and other Scriptures as also noted above.
