Great post. Reminded me of John 4:31-35 (NIV)
Meanwhile his disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat something.”
But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”
Then his disciples said to each other, “Could someone have brought him food?”
“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.
Obedience in working in the Father’s Kingdom is also food. Yes?
I understand it..sort of…and strive with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to live. I hate to talk about it, though, because it gets really contentious sometimes as folks try to sort out the whole believe, obey..and so on and so forth. I’ll leave most of that to you theologians LOL.
I like Jonathan Edwards definition of theology: the doctrine of living to God by Christ. It’s both knowledge (doctrine) and practice (living) and its relational (to God by Christ).
Dan, I thought you might enjoy this in light of this post.

It is indeed. That whole bread of life thing. It’s deeper than commonly thought.
