In the wee hours of Sunday morning, Mandi got a call that her dad was being taken to the hospital. Her mom has Parkinson’s, and can’t be left alone so she left right away to their place. Long story short, he had a “sleeping stroke.” It looks like he is going to be okay, and should be coming home today. But Mandi’s mom needs her, so she was gone overnight with her last night and will be again tonight as well. So far the girls are all taking it in stride. I am worried about how Anna will be tomorrow though. This is just the kind of thing that can send her back down into her depression. But regardless, this means I turn back into Mr. Mom for the next couple of days at least. So her dad (Allen) her mom (Sherry) and Mandi and I all need your prayers. Not sure how this will affect my posting abilities… we will see.

Learning To Be Full Of Grace And Truth. 
Father God, holy is your name. Thank you for being the God of all Comfort to Dan and his family. Saturate Dan, Mandi, their children-especially Anna in your love. Give them a love injection into every nano cell of them. May your shalom-wholeness and nothing missing or broken bring more abundant life to Allen and Sherry. Surprise them with your joy and healing virtue flow into every place that it is needed. Give Mandi and her parents and her immediate family your abundant grace from heaven. Thank you for your healing touch and peace, though the finished work resurrection work of Jesus. Amen!

The stress and worry this causes is monumental so I pray for supernatural strength and endurance. Parents getting older is a difficult part of life. So, I also pray for God’s wisdom and discernment to meet the challenges head on and with a joy-filled heart. May this Thanksgiving be a true Thanksgiving for the love of God, family and friends.
