Proof

Forgiveness is proof of the corporate and individual unity between God and His children. In forgiving we know ourselves to be forgiven and acknowledge our being part of the body of Christ. In receiving forgiveness we realize that it is our union with Christ and His atonement that makes forgiveness possible and that the power of His grace is greater than our sin.
