Learning To Be Full Of Grace And Truth.
By Dan Ledwith
Prayer requires that we take the time to listen and ponder what God says to us as much as it requires us to speak to Him.
This must be why the prayers of the Church in Acts contain so many quotes from Moses, the prophets, and the Psalms. J.

Prayer involves relationship with God. What type of relationship is one way communication? He speaks and we need to listen and respond to him. He is our Father who loves us.

Absolutely right. Prayer is not so much talking to God as it is talking with God. Big difference right?

Amen so true. I tell my son that we are in a relationship with God he wants to hear from us yes but he also wants to speak. You wouldn’t want to be in a onesided conversation now, would you? He replies, “No that would be annoying.”
