Remember…

October is “Pastor Appreciation Month.” Show your pastor some love people! I speak from experience when I tell you that pastors are often misunderstood, underappreciated, held to ridiculously ludicrous expectations. Many are lonely, depressed, over-worked, and underpaid. Don’t worry about over doing it, you won’t. And I wouldn’t mind if some of that love came my way either. đŸ˜‰

Be a Pastor they said
Be a Pastor they said. It’ll be fun they said.

  1. Abundant blessings to you, Pastor Dan. Blessings of healing from all the trauma of sheep bites. May you see an abundant harvest from all the seeds you have planted. Have a bumper crop of unexpected blessings!

  2. You know Dan, I’ve only ever had one Pastor really. I mean, I piddled in a church for a year or two when i was about 12 to 13, and never cam “Pastor’s bulldog” lol. Meaning I watch his back and am not shy if somebody is not being right to him. Trust me, gossiping about the preacher around me has ended with a couple of people being quite shocked by being called out on it. We’ve had some tussles over 9 years because we are both very outspoken, but it has been a great relationship which I value very greatly.
