I know, I posted this lyric video in a post a couple weeks ago. But it is just so awesome that I needed to give it its own post!
Can I be honest? So much of Christian music is lackluster, unimaginative (repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat), and too often heologically shallow at best. To find a Christian artist who is talented, creative, and who sings songs that are not content to stay in the kiddie-pool of theology and the Christian life is rare. One of the best, in my humble opinion, is Plumb. She is the dark roast black coffee with a shot of espresso in a world of syrupy frappuccinos and white chocolate mochas.
Her song Exhale is one that I have been listening to a lot lately. Then I found this lyric video she did. Let me be perfectly clear: THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE ABSOLUTE BEST LYRIC VIDEO I HAVE EVER SEEN! PERIOD! It is excellent, creative, mesmerizing, and adds to the song’s already considerable punch.
Watch it and tell me that I am wrong…

I love it Dan! It is brilliantly put together and the words become very vivid when done this way. You can’t miss the message. We need to open the doors of the church for whosoever will so they can come to the cross of Christ and be saved. AMEN

I know right? I can’t imagine the time and effort that went into that. It had to be considerable. But the end result is that instead of distracting from the song, it actually works with it and adds to it, accenting it’s message. Brilliant! We need more stuff like this.
