Just for Fun

While my friend and fellow blogger Michelle Styles and I were talking the other day, she commented that she was wondering what might be the subject of her next post. Jokingly, I said (among other silly suggestions), “How about the top 10 reasons why everyone should follow Pastor Dan’s blog?” to my surprise she did. And in the spirit of fun and levity I have decided to share it with you. So without further ado,

10. Because it makes sense.

9. Because it’s a great fresh new message every day.

8. Because we all need a little dose of God daily.

7. Because it’s the truth.

6. Because even Yoda reads it (inside joke deal with it).

5. Because all the cool kids are doing it.

4. Because it’s well written, uplifting and inspirational.

3. Because if not you reading then who?

2. Because his message is well worth the time spent reading it.

1. Because he is Pastor Dan, ’nuff said.

Now, I suppose I should return the favor (or continue the joke, depending on your point of view). So here are the top ten reasons I read Michelle’s blog and why you should too.

10. Because her posts are so diverse, you never know what the next one will be on.

9. Because she is honest.

8. Because you will often learn something new.

7. Because she makes you think.

6. Because she is willing to talk about difficult things.

5. Because Yoda reads it (again, inside joke).

4. Because she writes from the heart and from the head.

3. Because it’s real.

2. Everyone needs to hear from people who overcome incredible odds.

1. Because it is written by the one and only Michelle Styles, and isn’t that reason enough?
