Michelle, the author of this post, is the woman whom I referred to in Part 1 whom I have been walking with as she works through the pain of rape. She wrote this post to parallel my own by giving her own perspective as a victim to whom Christian friends and family attempted to comfort after her attack. They did so in the ways I urged us to avoid in part 2. I encourage my readers to listen with care and humility to her experience, and what she says she and others she is helping need from us.
